Lead and Assistant Teachers at Large

Our support staff allows our classroom teachers time for planning and lunch breaks. They also serve as substitutes, assistants, playground facilitators, and provide extra support when needed. They all carry the required degrees and/or certificates, and training set forth by both the state of Texas and the National Association for the Education of Young Children.

    Assistant Teacher

Danielle Rincon received her Early Childhood Studies Associates degree in 2018. She has enjoyed working with children since she was fourteen-years-old. Danielle first came to LHWS as a volunteer student working on field site training hours for her degree in Early Childhood Studies. She worked primarily with our Group 4 and 5 preschool students. While in school Danielle joined a Reading Buddy Program which helped her see how much she truly enjoyed working with children. This program focused on engaging young children with the love of books, and promoted pre-reading and reading skills. Since volunteering in that program, her passion for teaching young children grew, and challenged her to pursue her degree in the field of Early Childhood. Danielle graduated in May of 2018 with her Associates of Applied Science in Early Childhood Studies. She is currently working on her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Studies. Danielle works at LHWS as our Pre-K Group 5 class after-school assistant teacher. Her favorite experience in working with young children is to see how they change and grow.
